MCC Toronto Chapter held a discussion on Islamic history and heritage on 24 October 2026 at Danforth Islamic Centre, Toronto, as part of Islamic Heritage Month activities. A post-event chapter report confirms that the event took place, supplementing the earlier programme announcement.

The discussion, titled “ইসলামের সোনালী ইতিহাস ও ঐতিহ্য” (Islam’s Golden History and Heritage), featured Prof Dr Gias Uddin Talukdar as chief guest and MCC Chairman Br Shahin Siddiquee as special guest. Toronto Chapter President Faruk Ahmed chaired the session, which was conducted by Maulana Shamim Ahmed.

The reported programme included Qur’an recitation by Maulana Abdur Rauf and an Islamic nasheed by Mishki Jaygirdar. The chapter described participation by MCC members and the wider community. Seven photographs accompany the post-event report and have been identified for the newsletter.
