MCC Montréal NextGen Holds First Gathering for Grades 8–12

MCC Montréal NextGen reported its first gathering for students in Grades 8–12 during early October 2026, bringing together young participants for faith-based learning, recreation and friendship.

The organiser’s report records 16 participants, including three organisers. Activities included Islamic reflection, congregational prayer, food and recreation, with opportunities for participants to meet and develop a sense of community.

The organisers expressed the hope that future gatherings would help young people grow in confidence and responsibility. Photographs supplied with the chapter report accompany this article.

The report was shared on 3 October, which establishes when the account was posted, not necessarily the date of the gathering. The article therefore describes the activity as having been reported in early October without assigning 3 October as the event date.
